Delicious food in a beautiful setting

A restaurant since 1951, The Brick House has grown in recent years to accommodate the increasing demand for the fine food and elegant atmosphere found there. Owner Aldo Cascio bought the Brick House in 1997 and created a reputation for mouth-watering steaks and a distinctive dining experience. Seeing the need for a more upscale, tasteful banquet facility in Bergen County, he decided to re-create the Brick House again into the area’s pre-eminent catering venue. Our gorgeous main dining room has been completely renovated and provides a memorable lunch or dinner experience. The new windows and French doors open onto charming patios.

Our handsome main bar upstairs and clubby cigar bar downstairs offer our customers a choice of settings when looking to relax and entertain. Our extensive wine list features selections from around the world to enhance any meal. The Brick House, a Wyckoff NJ restaurant and event venue, has been a premier Bergen County steakhouse restaurant for fifty years, serving fine food to area patrons under the expert supervision of chef-owner Aldo Cascio. The building dates back to 1851, and is one of Bergen County’s only examples of a Federal Greek Revival farmhouse, its historic elegance and modern refinement making it a memorable event venue for weddings, birthdays, and special occasions.

The Brick House Reviews

The Brick House has been under the expert supervision of chef-owner Aldo Cascio. Our elegant Grand Ballroom offers catering distinctions and features you won’t find elsewhere in Bergen County. We can accommodate parties of up to 150 people for weddings, bar or bat mitzvahs, birthday parties, celebratory luncheons and dinners, cocktail parties, corporate events, bridal or baby showers and more.

For customers who like to enjoy a great cigar – perhaps along with a delicious steak and a fine beverage – the Brick House Cigar Bar is the place to be. Our unique and extensive cigar menu, plus large-screen TVs displayed around the bar, offer a wonderful experience for our customers who like enjoy sports and entertainment in a club-like environment. The Brick House has a special cigar bar lounge located in the lower level of the restaurant that is easily accessed from our main bar on the main level – or from the staircase off the main entrance. While Cascio specializes in authentic Italian cuisine with unique flair at Aldo’s Italian Restaurant, the menu at The Brick House focuses on fine steaks, chops and seafood. Updated dining and banquet menus at The Brick House reflect Chef Cascio’s passion for delivering quality fare and a fine-dining experience. Not the best steak I’ve ever had but decent.

His distinguished restaurants have both earned rave reviews and have provided the setting for many celebrations. You and your guests will enjoy gracious service and personal attention from the moment you arrive until the last plate is cleared. The Brick House has been an integral part of the Wyckoff and surrounding Bergen and Passaic County communities for many years. Brick House gift cards are a perfect gift for family, friends, coworkers, employees – everyone!

My only gripe was the cigar bar. The vibe was like a club with techno music pumping. Not the vibe you want in a cigar bar. The Brick House, located in tranquil Wyckoff, New Jersey, is one of Bergen County’s only examples of a Federal Greek Revival farmhouse. The building dates back to 1851, and has been a premier Bergen County restaurant serving fine food to area patrons for fifty years.
